I just like history... Australian history
is very young compared to the rest of the world and we have sure crammed a lot
into our 216 years! Australian people have always loved the underdog and the
outlaw... Peter Lalor, Breaker Morant, Ronald Ryan, even Chopper Read to an extent. Ned Kelly
to me, represents this in an amazing way!
He was in the shit up to his
neck (literally) because he fought for justice for his family and friends and it is
indeed a rare compliment these days to be called 'Game as Ned Kelly!'
Unofficial heavyweight champ of the Northeast, Son of an Irishman and dedicated
to his loved ones. Yes... Ned Kelly.
When Ned was taken by Police at Glenrowan, I wonder why the sympathizers didn't
rush the Cops and rescue him and the boys?
While there is quite a few decent websites and books on Ned Kelly and other Bushrangers, There is
also a LOT of rubbish.
Being interested in Ned Kelly and his gang or being classed as a 'sympathizer'
or even a bloody 'Historian', comes from within..
My sole objective of this website is for visitors to see that The Kelly's were
victims of inept Policing
And because of that, Police and innocents died.
Forget rubbish like Ned Kelly the movie, Peter Carey's book...
Buy some books,
look at some of the links to other Kelly websites and perhaps one day, The Boys
will again ride free.

I've had a great time over the last 10
years making this website!
The Kelly Story is about REAL people...
It's not some bloody movie and I think a few people forget that fact.
Digging around in grave yards with metal spikes, metal detectors... talk about
ghouls!
...bugger that!
This website is now suitable for school kids.
Teachers: I've removed the clangers.
And kids aren't fools anyway, they see through adults and their rubbish like a
crystal vase.
